Raymond Carver (what We Talk About When We Talk About Love) Essay
Mel McGinnis of ââ¬Å"What We Talk About When We Talk About Loveâ⬠appears as that one person that everybody appears to know. He stands apart from others; heââ¬â¢s one of a kind. You either love him or detest him. Mel is particularly similar to one of my old buddies. They are both exceptionally individualistic and hello are both irritating lushes. They are both fascinating characters however. I think the creator Raymond Carver made the character Mel based off somebody he knew. Carver made Mel for some explanation. à à à à à Mel is much the same as one of my old buddies. One day I like him; the following day I despise him. Individuals like this will in general get irritating to others around them. They are very factious. My companion will contend everlastingly and Mel is a similar way.
